FRANCESCA LIBERATORE PRESENTS SPRING/SUMMER 2018 AT NEW YORK FASHION WEEK

Designer Francesca Liberatore showed her anticipated Spring/Summer 2018 collection on Sunday September 10th, 2017. On the runway, she explored the history of the feminine silhouette with distinct historical moments represented: from rural Colonial America to Revolutionary France to the grand Middle East.

The color palette was intentionally controlled and precise: the lightest of blue, the softest of yellow, rustic greens, violet blue and pink-tinged lilacs form a subdued yet intoxicating palette supported by dove grays mixed with white. Each style is crafted in the finest fabrics of cozy cotton, French lace and jacquard silk.

Liberatore created two signature prints for the Spring/Summer 2018 collection. One features watch mechanisms representing time’s fluid momentum: the other features plane engines and aviators representing each of our personal journey.
